Customer Measurement Instruction Sheet
*Important: Please read each specific instruction at the time of measuring and complete the ‘Customer Measurement Sheet’ (provided) with your specific measurements accordingly (in our research this improves garment satisfaction)!!!
*Should you feel that you may require ‘one on one’ assistance with gathering your measurements, simply go to your local tailor and request a fixed price for a simple set of your personal measurements. Once a price has been agreed upon, and only then, simply bring forward this sheet, as well as, all others provided for optimal results!
Generic Jacket / Shirt Measurements (for both male & female garments)
Neck: With your measuring tape, simply measure a complete 360 degree circle around your neck leaving the added/extra space of one (1) finger inside the tape for final measure. (Refer to picture)
Chest: Complete a 360 degree circle around the chest accommodating the largest points. (Refer to picture)
Waist: Complete a circle around the waist accommodating the largest points. (Refer to picture)
Hip: Complete a circle around the hips accommodating the largest points. (Refer to picture)
Shoulder: Simply measure from the highest point of one shoulder to the other allowing the center/middle point of the tape rest upon the upper of your back/lower neck to accommodate optimal fit and movement of your garment. (Refer to picture)
L/ sleeve: STEP 1- Please measure from the highest point of shoulder to the elbow; and then, STEP 2- hold the measuring tape tight upon the elbow and further measure from the elbow point to the first knuckle of the THUMB joining your HAND!!! (This allows for optimal comfort and fit of your customized garment). (Refer to picture)
S/ sleeve: Simply complete STEP 1 of the above instructions for L/ sleeve. (Refer to picture)
Front: Simply measure from the UPPER/INSIDE of one arm pit, directly to the opposite armpit, allowing the tape to fit snuggly upon your chest. (Refer to picture)
Back: As above, from UPPER/INSIDE of one arm pit to the other allowing the tape to fit snuggly across your back. (Refer to picture)
Length:
Pant Measurement
Waist: Complete a circle of measure around the widest part of where you like your pants to sit. (Refer to picture)
Hip: Complete a circle of measure around the widest part of your hip region. (Refer to picture)
Crotch:
Belly: Complete a circle of measure around the widest part of stomach. (Refer to picture)
Length: Waist line down to floor whilst
Cuff: Simply nominate on the measurement sheet your desired fit over shoe line i.e loose fit, tight fit etc…
Thigh: Complete a circle of measure around the widest part of thigh. (Refer to picture)
Woman Dress
Chest: Complete a circle around the UPPER CHEST.
Bust: Then, complete a circle around the widest girth of bust area etc…
